I like to have a cigar with my morning (late morning while at TTR) coffee or after dinner. I don't want to bother anyone with the smoke though. What are some good places to get away from the crowd for this? I've never been to the rooftop bar. Is there enough room up there to find some space? I appreciate any suggestions.
Roof top out by the end that overlooks the pool is seldom crowded, it would be easy to find a spot to smoke but I don't know how early it opens. You could get a coffee at the coffee shop by the lobby and take it to Bash. Late morning there is seldom any body there. You could have a nice view of the ocean and it is right next to the coffee shop.
In the evening when Bash is hopping, I venture over to the balcony over looking the pool, a great breeze over there and I can still keep a eye on my dancing wife. In the morning, I go to the beach and swing in one of the hammocks while puffing on a Cuban cigar or on of the beach beds. The staff will still come by and see if you need a drink.
My favorite place is the balcony (obviously) with a glass of Henny but there’s always a few open spots you can light up. Most people don’t mind. I even lit one up at Bash one time and ended up meeting a few other like minded folks who had one with me.

Classy for asking.. I do love a cigar from time to time, but not always a fan of the smell when I'm not smoking... And whenever I do, I always try and seclude myself. If it was at bash, out by the railings would be where i'd go... Not near the lobby doors.. Anytime on your balcony should be perfectly fine... And if its before noon, honestly most areas around the quiet pool or sexy pool are easy enough. If you are premier member, up on the premier deck is usually a good spot too.. And there is PLENTY of room on the rooftop bar.
