Not sure what they have or their price, but vendors walk the beach and sell cigars. You can haggle prices with them. I heard there is only place in the Cancun area to get Cubans. I wouldn't believe most that state that they are.

I know nothing of cigars but one who does know these things told me that real Cubans are never sold in a see-through package. I've checked at reputable cigar places and that seems to hold true.

(I think cigars smell great...until you light them...then they are awful!)

The ones on the beach aren't the good cubans for sure. My last trip I decided I had to check out the Walmart after resisting for the previous trips and lo and behold there is a cigar kiosk there that has a good selection, for reasonable prices.

My advice is to get some stogies there for your stay and then when you go home go into the duty free store at the airport and get the high quality ones.

That being said the ones sold on the beach and in most of the markets are ok if you're not too picky
