Community of Faith, a non-demoninational Christian Church, has recently moved to Club Albatross, with services Sunday mornings at 8:55 am. The weird time is because the Spanish service starts at 10:30 and we have to be out so that they can get in. Child care is provided. Our our attendance is normally about 20 per week and we are in a nice big room as the Spanish service has more worshipers. I have been going to this church for almost 3 years and am quite happy. It is an informal setting and an informal group. Mens' and Womens' group meetings are offered one morning a week. The men meet Wed at 8:30 am at the Italian Coffee Co on Bonampak, next to the new Sams Club. If you are looking for a church home, this is a good place.
It is. Marco is the Spanish pastor who not that long ago returned from Houston, with his lovely wife Carina, where he did a stint there. In his absence, the videotaped his sermons and they were uploaded and downloade and viewed on the big screen. The English group does not have a Pastor and the services are shown the same way, but in English and they are by one of the many Pastors at the church in Houston. Again, the English service is at 8:55 am at Club Albatross and it is followed at 10:30 and noon by Spanish services. Tracey, I just love Marco. A super person.
