Chunky Monkey

Heading out to Lake Havasu this weekend. We want to make the same Chunky Monkey drinks we had at Temptation. Anybody know what is used to make them???

Never heard of it and did not know they made it down there. I may have to make some this weekend.

 

Oh I would love to check out Lake Havasu sometime.That place looks awesome!

 

I've tried making this at home and it does not taste the same! Can't beat the TTR version.

 

Reminded me of my favorite sushi roll.

Funky Monkey....and eel roll with banana in it.

 

Isn't it called a Drunky Monkey?
I think the Chunky Monkey is what happens if you drink to many of them..lol

 

4 oz Vanilla( or almond) soya milk, 4 oz of Kahlua, 8 or 10 ice cubes, 1/3 of a banana,

Pulverize in a blender,, , Makes 2 LARGE drinks

Garnish your glass with liquid chocolate if you want ( makes it a dirty monkey)

Not sure if this is the real recipe but it sure tastes like it and is super easy

OOO I loved Chunky Monkey at TTR!! I did see them put a 1/3 of a banana and they used a yellowish drink mix.... not sure what it was.

 

Thanks for the replies. I searched online and seems a lot of different versions out there. I will try it out this weekend.
