Taking inspiration for a trip the previous week, I was wondering if anyone fancies getting a group together to make this trip? You can see details in a similar thread here: http://www.cancuncare.com/forum/temptation-resort-cancun/27421-private-chichen-itza-trip-august.html I'd really like to see the sights, and I have heard that it's spectacular...but I'm also mindful about not missint too much TTR fun. If we can get a good group together, I could certainly be persuaded!! If we can get at least 6 people together, it makes it cheaper than a group tour, and we get to set our own itinerary. The 25th (or maybe 24th) is the Boobs Cruise, so we'd avoid whatever date that falls on. Let me know if you fancy it!:clappyinghappy:
August can get pretty hot during the day that far inland. In June 2012 we went to Chichen Itza for the night show (which I believe is only on Wednesdays) and we got to spend some time at the cenote Ik Kil, which was amazing! You still get plenty of daylight to explore the ruins, but get to also spend some time there as it cools off. Just my 2 cents : )
