Hi everyone, We are checking in really late the night we get there. After a bitch of a layover in Miami, our flight lands at 10:36pm, so I figure it will be midnight or later when we get to the resort. Is this ever a problem? We are arriving on a Tuesday night if it makes any difference.
Only if resort is full, might have trouble with selection of room, food wise the grill will be open in paty o's. Next trip try and get a early flight so you dont lose a day off your vacation
Maybe they aren't losing a day of vacation, but getting a jump start the night before. Everyone's travel plans aren't the same, and people have work restrictions.
Its funny that you say that cause we normally try to fly out EARLY am and get there by noon-ish. However, this year we have a new airline here that leaves late in the day and we are weighing our options to take that new airline and leave our last day of work or stick with what we always do. Yea that is exactly what I was trying this past trip. We normally leave 7am Saturday morning. But I looked in to getting a flight Friday right after work. I won't have to use anymore vacation days, and it would have only cost $180 more. 180 to get in an extra night, and then already be there Saturday morning, seemed like a no brainier. However, with having to get there so early for an international flight, the timing just didn't work out.
This is what we are doing this year. Leaving after work on Thurs evening and arriving Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. It was cheaper than leaving Sat morning and it will give us more time at TTR, but a little worried about not getting enough sleep...may fall victim to the first-day-curse. :blueshock:
We did the 10:30pm flight arrival a few trips ago. No problems whatsoever. The best part is that there is no wait in immigration etc. We had USA Transfers waiting for us (but we were not even the last one that night). They were fine to check us in that evening when we finally got there. Be prepared for a quick change to go out and hit Paty O's right away. It'll be in full swing.
Thanks! We were going to fly down the next morning, but the June 14th Boobs Cruise booked up so quick that we decided tohop on the late flight after work June 9th so we could be there for the June 10th Boobs Cruise
