My flight home doesn't leave until 5pm and checkout is at noon. Do they let people hang out for an hour or 2 after check out?
Yes - they snip your wristband off and then give you a ticket that you have to show if asked by staff. Whatever you do, don't lose that ticket though!
yes, you can use all facilities - much nicer food than at Cancun airport! We got to the airport too early and when I got hungry I found myself dreaming about TTR buffet lunch after checking airport food options... Don't make the same mistake! ;-)
Prior to your departure for the airport - hit the buffet and ask for a to go plate. Hamburgers travel well. They will wrap it with saran wrap and food passes through security no problem. The airport food sucks and is ridiculously overpriced - worst part for us was our Untied flight of 5.5hrs did not get restocked in Cancun so they pretty much ran out of any and everything on the way back.
One trip we ended up leaving the resort at midnight, during checkout at noon they took our braclets however we had no problems at the resort suntanned all day.. ate at Tex Mex and the buffet, drank at patio's until shuttle arrived... No problem at all.
OR FIND A NEW FRIEND and drop your stuff off in there room to change ect....we bring exra zip lock baggies for those burgers ect....sucks going home
