We will probably be arriving a good bit before the 3pm check in time. Do they often let you check in early if the room's ready and if not can we change and start enjoying the resort while we wait?:ernaehrung005:
start the party I remember reading in the forum that you can get changed and start the party. We are in the same boat get in at 10am and checkin is at 330 so I may not get to hammered so I remember I have to check in :huepfen021: Neil_Jo
If your room is ready when you arrive..They will usually let you in the room...If not...They will hold your bags untoil the room is ready...At which point you can change in the bathroom in the lobby and start partying at the Sexy pool ( Pack swimwear on top of your bags to change into) Just remember to check back before your partying gets into FULL swing :xyxthumbs: LOL
When my wife and I made our reservations I asked if it was okay to show up early - they said the same thing with if the room is ready as previous people. They said they've got lockers (or a room or something) to keep your bags in until the room is ready. We also need to leave late, and that was (if I recall correctly) $25 per hour to keep the room. Not a bad deal!
With leaving late (after the noon check out time), you keep your wristband and they'll hold your bags. You probably will have friends by then who'll let you use their room after checkout to change, shower, etc. We've left as late as 8 PM and it worked out great! Really no need to pay the "hold your room" hourly charge. Especially since you'd rather be out enjoying the afternoon party anyway!
We should be getting to the resort at check in time and are checking out before noon so we are good. We have e-mailed the resort to request what we would like, a cross our fingers type of thing, we haven't heard back from them - has anyone e-mailed and received a response?
We did the online-chat thing and it worked well - the email not so much. Ana said she sent a couple of emails but we never got them. Not a big deal though, because she just pasted them into the chat window and then I emailed the chat to myself. . . She's super helpful as well - one of the reasons my wife and I decided to go was based on her customer service.
We sent an email earlier in Jan. WRT another matter and did get a reply. We also sent an email about rooms but never did get a reply on that one and that was about a 2 weeks ago Neil_Jo
You can go to their website and pre-check in up to 15 days in advance saves you a bit of time when you get there.
I did that a few days ago, and called them yesterday to verify. They had no record of our express check-in. I did the express check-in again yesterday, and will try the online chat with them today to see if they got it this time. If not, I will ask the online rep to put our express check-in details (copy/paste the email) into their system at that time. Here's hoping for the best!
