cheapest/best weather month to travel?

OK so we know everyone has there own sweet lil honey hole for finding the cheapest rates to get our butts to TTR and the best months for weather(in our own opinion). We know that we each have a preferences due to friends traveling, time we can get away from work or kids schedules.....The question then is what is the perfect combination? What month is cheapest and best weather if you had no other worries? Living there is not an option sorry! LOL

 

We've now been in april & september... I have to say I prefer september, as the nights were warmer/less windy than they were in April.

 

ive been sept. april and nov. they were all great!!! i liked the cooler nights of nov. but the hot sunny days of the other months.

 

Cheapest is during hurricane season, around October. If you get no hurricanes, the weather will be nice and warm..

 

We loved the weather in late October and the rates are great too.

 

We have been the last two Halloweens. Last year the weather was great. The year before there was a hurricane that caused us to have to reschedule by a few days but the weather was fine when got there. It is definitely cheaper. Seems like it was about 30% less than our trip this March.

 

We've did 2 Oct trips and 2 April trips..Our first Oct trip a hurricane was on the way then got downgraded to a tropical depression...it rained for like 8 hours one night and thats it..Our flight was cancelled and we were stuck at TTR for 3 extra days..not complaining. April is more expensive to go, October prices are very affordable but you are rolling the dice being its hurricane season...always have travel insurance especially in Oct..we did and they paid for everything from our 3 day delay

 

We just did March and New years eve, airfare was about the same. The weather was acually better at NYE. We also did end of August , prices were good and the weather was fantastic.

 

As others have said, Halloween time is awesome, for price, party, ppl and pre Yuletide energy boost. But weather can be dicey. But those of us who know, know that the risk/reward payout can be superb. If there is no hurricane, Halloween is by far the best week of the year.

 

We've done about 10 Oct. and except for 1 the weather has been great. Hot in the day and just right at night. Prices are the cheapest from sept.-nov. Because of hurricane season. There is a lot of repeaters in Oct also.
