We have the booking/traveling to Cancun down to a science. To Vegas...not so much. Anyone have any advice on the best websites to book through? Wanting to go mid September.

    Thanks!

mid-September should be relatively cheap -

We use Hotwire - you don't see the hotel name until you purchase but if you don't have to have a specific hotel you can get great rates and since you can sort by star level and location in Vegas you can narrow it down quite a bit.

Don't forget, every hotel/casino in Vegas charges a resort fee of up to $20 a night, you pay that once you get to the hotel and not to Hotwire.

    Kayak always for flights -

    JetBlue gateway packages.
If you are casino reward member then book flight from kayak and get cheap hotel deal from casino website.
Also try to book on strip and not in downtown or other hotels

Weekends are going to be the most expensive in any season. Cheapest rates and airfare are generally Sunday/Monday through Thursday. We have found hotels offer the best deals in the summer, especially July and August. The heat keeps so many people away, they discount the room to get folks out.
In fact we are heading there this week.

Maybe try Alpharooms for the cheaper 'British pricing'. They offer hotels everywhere, not just Cancun :)

You cannot beat Southwest for cheap flights. Often Southwest will have great deals on hotels also in Vegas. We typically just know which hotel we want to stay at and then search several of the sites to see which is cheapest. We did use Hotwire one time for an extra night when we had to stay over because of Hurricane hitting Texas. We wound up at the Trump Hotel for around a $100. It is a very nice romantic Hotel, no casino, one block off strip.

We rent off of VRBO. Direct with the owners and no hotel fee. Signature towers are nice smoke free and connected to MGM.

mycheapvegas.com for the best pricing and deals for Vegas, hands down. Also if you haven't heard of the myvegas slots game on FB/Android/iOS get on that asap. It is ran by MLife. It's a free game with real rewards. Look for it on FB and in the App Store of your mobile device (it's best to play on FB & iOS). I know it sounds crazy, I was reluctant at 1st but it's real. I have used (and will use) the rewards from the game for comp'd rooms and free buffets, Cirque shows, and other stuff at the MLife properties like Mirage, Aria, NY NY, Luxor etc. PM me if ya want more details.
