We have just booked our next visit for the 27th March 2012! Previously booked with Thompson or Thomas Cook, this year booked through Kenwood Travel - Specialists in Worldwide Luxury Holidays Great prices! £1221 each in standard room for 2 weeks inc flights, £392 extra for a deluxe sea view room for 2 weeks, we have treated ourselves this year!, return private transfer £19 each, Flight with BA from Gatwick, if you want a flight upgrade to world traveller plus £400, we took this option, 46Kg of baggage each! how many shoes, bikinis and toys is that! and 2 pieces of hand luggage. Its a lot of money but we also get food, drink etc etc The other companies were about £1700 with no extras or upgrades. We have paid £1800 with all the upgrades.

thats a good deal, why should'nt you treat yourself, we found a very good early deal, which is why we booked early, we are going on the 15th april for 2 weeks, and paid £1095 pounds each, as you say, they are normally coming up at £1400- £1700 for 2 weeks, shame we are going to miss you, this will be trip 7 for us, have a great time.

Wish this had come up a few months back! We booked with Thomson (assumed it was the lowest deal), paying less, but there wasn't even the option for upgrades. Would be keen on getting an upgraded room, but I reckon if we tried to do that on arrival for a 2 week stay it'll cost s fortune. Also got the standard airport transfer that stops by every hotel first before Temptation (was the only option with Thomson - couldn't 'unclick' the option for transfers!).

Well done and enjoy your stay.

Hi there, we have used Kenwood Travel couple of times now, and had no complaints!!.Infact this trip to TTR this Halloween for 10 nights all in...luggage, transfers and flights from gatwick (BA) has come in at £2400, it was £2145 but they struggled with flights for us that period 'cause so busy....

    Sooooooooooo excited!..Karen & Chris

We used the exact same BA flight going the opposite way Cancun > London > Cancun in July and paid £1200 for each adult. So that's the same as Meims except without the 2 week all inclusive resort included in the price :(

The BA flight is much more tolerable than the charters, especially for us with kids in tow. Be careful on that luggage allowance though - make sure you dont have more than 23kg in any one bag. We did and had to go buy another bag at Gatwick (not exactly the best deal) and re-distribute everything at check in.

By the way in 2012 Virgin will start flying direct to Cancun from London and Air France direct from Paris, so more options and hopefully cheaper ones to come.
