So, Im tempted at having a friend bring me a $US25 tripod from the States in 2 weeks, but also would like to find some here and compare, just for the sake of it(easier in case it breaks etc.) Come to think of it, I dont think I have seen a single tripod in my 5.5 years here. I havent been to any of the "specialized" shops, as I assume, like with most things, Id be looking at x3 the price compared to the US. By any chance, has anyone seen them in a regular spot, such as Chedraui, Liverpool etc.?
You must not do your own shopping I have seen them in liverpool, walmart, chedraui, aswell as numerous other random stores in las americas. They run from 300-1k mxn.
Haha, I do do my own shopping Found some tonight, both in Liverpool and Chedraui. The cheapest one was 298 and I can see why it was "cheap"... The one I liked the most is a whooping 989 in Liverpool... In US it costs $44, so Ill be patient and wait. They displayed them in a strange way. About half of them where mixed with the vacuum cleaners and then the rest spread out amongst binoculars and computer accessories, haha.
