I've been looking at the album settings since some commented that they could only see recently updated albums and not all albums. This should now be fixed, and you should be able to access all albums except those designated as private (which only 'friends' can see).

Hopefully recently updated albums will also now jump to the top of the listing as new pictures are added.

I haven't seen the issue recently where some pics would be replaced by placeholders and show up blank, let me know via the thread please if this reoccurs.

At the moment, pictures are stored in the database. I intend to move these out of the database and into the file structure. I'm hoping this puts less load and fewer requests on the database and therefore speeds things up. There are tens of thousands of pictures and it will take several hours to move them so this will probably necessitate an overnight shutdown of the forum while this process is carried out.

Hi Steve, thanks for looking in to this. All albums are now showing up with the most recently updated ones at the front. Load times are good but that never hasn't been a problem for me (unless the kid is playing graphic intensive on-line crap, lol).

Still having the issue with empty place holders that may or may not open the pic and some pics don't open. Have tried in Firefox, IE 11, Edge and Chrome...all at default settings. Re-checked my firewall / other security settings as well but that would be an all or nothing thing. Very curious that only a small number of us are having this problem and that would indicate something on the client side. Will let you know if I find something on my side that corrects this.

Thanks again for looking in to it :)

    Scott
