Just in case there are any CFL fans out there may I present the 2009 West Division Champs. Who get to host the West Final in 2 weeks time. Go Riders!
I don't follow the sport religiously, but I listen to Hardcore Sports Radio on Sirius Satellite Radio and they are constantly talking about CFL on there. Based on what I've heard, Saskatchewan is a hell of a team with a real shot, so I'll pick them!
# of Times Appearing in Grey Cup Championship Since 2000 Montreal: 6 Saskatchewan: 1 This Years Stats: Montreal: 15-3-0 Saskatchewan: 10-7-1 This Years Meetings: Montreal - 2 Saskatchewan - 0 Even though Montreal has a history of choking on the last game of the year, my money is still on them this year. It has to pay off eventually... With Saskatchewan just squeaking by during the last half of the season, and their only outright win being against Toronto (4-14-0) with a score of 32-22 - nowhere close to Montreal's 25-0 and 42-17 wins over Toronto. I'm still hoping it will be Montreal vs. Calgary. I'd rather watch Montreal have to fight a little harder, rather than taking the easy win over Saskatchewan.
Number of Grey Cup appearances since 2000 Montreal - 6 Saskatchewan -1 Number of Grey Cup wins since 2000 Montreal - 1 Saskatchewan - 1 Winning percentage Montreal - 16% Saskatchewan - 100% Also the Riders have won it more recently But you're right the Als are pretty good, I would think that if it's either the Riders or Stamps in the Cup against them it will be a good game.
That's for posting: They have a real shot of making it to the cup game... but that's all, if even that...
