Does anyone know how long CFE usually takes before cutting the service for a place that hasnt paid on time?
I saw a case, recently, in which service was cut on the 29th of August for a customer whose deadline for payment was the 27th of July. They seem to have stolen electricity from me for three days or so until they got service restored; unfortunately, I didn't see it happening but my seal had been removed, and my consumption jumped by about 28 KWH during that period over what I would normally have consumed.
Thanks V. Got i sorted. They gave the neighbor a prorroga until Wednesday, so its all good. CFE told me "72 hours" before they cut. Not sure of they follow that deadline at a 100% or not, haha.
I don't know, T.J., but other than talking with the neighbor I'm not planning to do anything, at this point. I asked CFE to replace the seal, which they did. CFE is concerned about tampering with their equipment, which this act involved.
