Hi - Been a long time since I visted does anyone know if you can cash uk steling travellers cheques failry easy in Cancun? or specifically the Iberostar hotel? I know alot of people say take cards but being from the Uk my bank charges are higher than what commision / + exchange is so would prefer to take cheques and feel it is probably safer than using a card for everything? You shouldn't have a problem with travelers cheques. You'll need your passport with you when cashing them and be sure your signature is identical, they can be funny about that sometimes.
