Cards Against humanity and Rainy Days.

Well we have been looking at the Forum and it looks like Rain is an inevitable part of people's vacation at this point in the year. No point in trying to control the Chaos, people have been trying to do this since the start of Agricultural in the Furtile crescent some 5000 years ago, but I digress...

Ok so seems that when it does Rain it would not be a bad Idea to Maybe have something to do that is fun and people can gather round and have fun doing. I've played a game mentioned here before called "Cards Against Humanity" with some friends once. It was a fantastic way to get people involved in an activity, interact, and laugh, as well as get to know them a bit while being able to have drinks and have everyone participate and have fun. Seeing as there isn't any point in wasting any day or part of the day due to rain we were thinking why not have some fun this way when it does happen?

So we are just posting here on this thread to see if anyone would be interested when the inevitable does happen when we are there? We will be Arriving in Cancun by 12 noonish on May 14 (2014) and will be heading out about the same time on May 21. So let us know if anyone would be up for it. We can all find a spot under some sort of shelter and have some fun that way until it quits raining then head out to have some more drinks and enjoy the sun and festivities well let us know.

What does this picture have to do with our post? Well when we have to be inside (we live in Canada in Alberta (which means crazy weather with temperatures shifts of 40 degrees Celsius in 24 hours) which mean least 6 months inside) this is basically all we do. A card game with like minded open and fun people would be a blast!!

We look forward to all your replies. Looks like the forum has died down a bit. Think sillyleo is still recovering from her trip (great trip report by the way).

I have actually yet to play it (slutty Quinn here lol) so I'm looking forward to playing it with some new friends, drinks and good times

We won't be there when you are but if we were we would definitely be in. What a freaking fun game that is....Have fun !!

 

Our travel companions have laminated their CAH so we can play poolside with no fear of getting the cards wet!

 

That's a great idea! I wish I would have thought of that before spending an hour cutting those little cards out. :banghead:

Brought it in April and played with our friends. Great game, we will never travel without it.

We will gladly play assuming:

It's not complicated.
We don't have to stay sober.
Can be played in various states of undress. (Pic provided suggests clothing is not mandatory... This is Good)
If we get drunk, there is is no limit on the number of times we can ask for the rules to be explained again.

Sort of hoping now for a wet day from the 16th!!!
