Typically is it only the Cancuncare people from this forum that participate in the edgy fun events (lingerie night, school girl, Boobs Cruise, etc.) or do other TTR guests join in as well? If they don't join in --- do they at least act like they don't give a shit? Just trying to get a feel for what to expect.
lingerie night has been around a long time and it's the same every week because it's put on by the Resort - so more people are aware of it. Steve's Boob Cruises, school girl nights, glow nights and that kind of thing are unique to CancunCare followers - so only the cool people are on the in. That being said - people who go to TTR are mostly there for the party and gladly join in our CancunCare reindeer games if invited.
There are a number of repeaters who don't belong to Cancuncare for one reason or another. Most of them are cool, fun people who join in the TTR "fun", particularly lingerie night, as well as poolside fun. And Steve's "Boobs Cruises" organized on here are open to anybody who wants to have a great time; by all means, invite other TTR guests you meet; assuming there's space, Steve welcomes anybody fun. The night time events organized on here may have lower participation, since people may not have unique attire (like schoolgirl night). But most of the TTR guests are fun loving, good folks. There's always a few who were expecting the Moon Palace or some super upscale hotel and they are unhappy. But over 95% of the guests are there for the party and readily join in the fun.
lingerie night is shown on the TTR website as a scheduled event and many, if not most, guests are aware of it and participate whether they are members of CancunCare or not. The outfits the ladies wear are very sexy and they have a blast. Other events, like a school girl night, are organized here, by members and will not be common knowledge unless you visit this site. Regardless, the atmosphere at TTR is fun and sexy and no-one will "give a shit"...lol. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. The place is made for "edgy fun events".
There is the occasional traveler who maybe did not do their homework (Trip Advisor) or their spouse did and they did not realize what they were getting into. Case in point....as I prepared myself to get a body shot on the swim up bar last year, I looked up to see a sour faced lady in street clothes. She looked disgusted (but continued to watch) as I laid on the bar. She looked like she just got off the plane so maybe she was just tired. I did notice a couple days later that she continued to hang out at the sexy pool and looked less annoyed so hopefully she had a better time. There are not that many affordable adults only places in Cancun. This is unique and most know about it beforehand. Those who do not and are disgusted, all of a sudden become writers for Trip Advisor.
