My wife and I have been to Cancun 5 times, but this will be the first trip with our 2 kids, ages 3 and 1. Does anyone have any suggestions on things to do within the Hotel Zone that will be entertaining for the kids? Just trying to plan ahead in case we get some rain or need a break from the beach. Thanks in advance.
There's not that much to do with young kids imho if it rains. Fortunately it doesnt rain that often. Your best bet might be to head to La Isla Shopping Mall, much of the area is covered and there's a movie theatre and an interactive aquarium, some fun fountains and lots of shops to browse. There's ten pin bowling at Plaza Kukulcan although your particular children are probably too young for that. Maybe Rainforest Cafe for a meal (with their animated jungle animals) at Plaza Forum.
Thanks Steve. We are staying at the Westin which is right across the street from La Isla, so that will be perfect.
