I'm coming to Cancun June 17-26. I've been watchin the weather on weather.com and I am getting concerned. Most of the days we will be there show 70% of rain and thunderstorms. Will the sun make an appearance at all or am I doomed to rain the whole vaca? Love some insight on this.
Unless there is a tropical depression hanging around it has been my experence that most of the rain takes place early in the morning like between 12 and 6 am.
You should be fine. The last few days have been cloudy but also with lots of sun and humidity. I actually took an umbrella with me yesterday but it never left my backpack. Tropical storms or depressions or the unknown quantity at this point. We had one three weeks ago and it rained for a week, flooding everything. I didn't even leave my house for two days. I did save on toothpaste and soap though. I would not even worry about it. It will be what it will be. Think positive. A nasty day in Cancun is a better day than work anywhere else.
