My husband and I have been to Temptation Cancun twice and planning a third trip. However we were wondering is Los Cabos worth trying out. Has anyone been to both? Please help....

guys we have been to cancun a number of times since 2005 (i think 6 or 7 cant remember) and we have been to los cabos one time there are a large number of cancuncare people whom have been to both that will tell you that they did not like los cabos as much as cancun..............in fact some we consider our friends and highly value their opinions on the other hand, there are a large number of people whom have been to both that will tell you that they will never go back to cancun. T and i would be in that group. people experience things differently and what is good for some may not be for others - make sense? cancun is definitely more upbeat and party oriented and five times the size......adult frat party its been called.......many consider the games better in cancun. the games in los cabos dont tend to get in the way of conversations as they do in cancun. games at cancun are a very big deal and if you are looking for that in los cabos - you will not find it games in los cabos are a small and (in my opinion) an appropriate minor thing and they dont tend to overshadow a vacation like they do in cancun..........dont get me wrong... cabo is still a great party spot where you will see body shots and adult fun.........its just a touch more sophisticated and far more intimate we felt as though when we were in cabo we had much more time to spend with people and there was not so many other distractions constantly interefering with the things we like most........... again CONVERSATIONS WITH PEOPLE WE ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH again everyone sees thing differently some like holdiay inn express more than hampton inn some like cancun more some like cabo more and some fools like the eagles more than the cowboys the best rob
Great and honest comparison. Sounds like a potential trip... I'm sure the security aren't like the vultures they are in cancun...
Pondering this idea as well We are pondering this idea for a future trip as well. I guess you don't know tell you try right? I don't think we would be disappointed no matter what especially with good friends surrounding us!! Tina
Hi Tina, I started a thread right after we got back and seems there are a few wanting to check it out in November 11, 2011 if you wanted to keep this date in mind.. thought we would check it out before April 2012..
We love TTR Cabo been 3 time and now on June 8th going to give TTR Cancun a go. It should be interesting to see the differences between the two resorts.Either way how can we not have a great time the June 2011 group looks like a fun croud common June!
