Please be aware that the hotel Oasis recently renamed Be Live is currently in the midst of some legal disputes between various owners/partners. You can read more about this here.

As a result of a court injunction Be Live can not currently be sold in Europe, USA and Canada, which is why many people are having problems locating a deal in their own countries. This means Be Live may well be much quieter than normal for Spring Break 2011, simply because people can not find it to book. It is possible that it could all get resolved by then and there is no risk I am aware of at the moment of the hotel being closed. But it's certainly a risk booking if you expect it to be as busy as usual.

However, the legal restrictions do not extend outside of USA, Canada and Europe which means Mexican providers can still offer reservations.

    50% Off Deal
If, after considering the above, you still want to book then because of these problems they currently have a 50% off deal that can be booked only through Mexican providers, one of which I happen to be partners with:)

Here is the link to the 50% off deal

At the end of the day, you'll still be in Cancun and at half the going rate. My guess is they will still be selling day passes as usual and SB'ers from all over Cancun will still flock there during the day. However, at the current time I expect there to be less people than is usually the case for Cancun Spring Break. Therefore, book at own risk.

hey steve i've tried going on there several times but whenever i enter the dates for spring break and it said not available. surely it wouldn't all be booked out yet especially with all the mess with people booking?

i went back through the dates and the latest date available seems to be the 22nd of december?

would booking it through Be Live Hotels | Oasis Before | Hotels in Spain, Cuba, Mexico and Dominican Republic be "safe"? like my booking wouldn't get deleted or forgotten or something cause not sure if that site is through oasis hotels or globalia

any insight would be greatly appreciated

On the link I gave I'm seeing availability for all of Spring Break - you are changing the year to 2011? and not checking for 2010 aren't you?

On the site you mentioned I punched in some Spring Break dates (I tried Mar 11 -18) and there was no availability. That site does appears to be the official BeLive site but it is based in Spain - which would mean it falls within Europe and is therefore currently not legally allowed to sell.
