Hey guys!! This will be my third time in Cancun and I’ve never seen prices this high before! We went to the Royal Solaris in April, for 5 days at around $425 a person. Last year we went from march 12-18, stayed at the oasis viva beach (which in my opinion is the greatest hotel there) and had direct flights from JFK and only spent about $625 a person. The same package is about double that price!!!!!! Do you guys see it getting cheaper?

Depending on where you look you can always find a deal, however this year the prices seem to be going UP and UP rather than UP and DOWN. I am baffled by it, but I would keep searching the web, every day, every hour or so, that's what I'm doing

Airfare and hotel prices fluctuate constantly based on availiblity and whether there is a deal out. Best way is to be flexible and not get too attached to any particular hotel (unless you start looking way ahead of time and have plenty of time to wait for a drop in price).

    ugghhhh

As of now prices are remaining steady!! I'm actually thinking of ditching the all inclusive option all together. The ME, Westin, and other 4-5 star resorts insanely cheap!! So that might be something to look into. I'm like obsessed with the Oasis Viva Beach, but at this point we might have to part ways lol!...........Real quick: has anyone had any experience with the Hotetur Beach Paradise hotel, in regards to location and spring break atmosphere?.......smh the oasis properties are extremely over priced compared to others(which I’ve stayed) is about $100 cheaper :angrymad:

Don't know about Hotetur Beach but I stayed at the ME 2 years ago. Definitely one of the nicest hotels in Cancun. No balcony though.

I have been finding amazing deals on orbitz. We found our flight from EWR(Newark, NJ) and 13 nights at the Golden Parnassus for just over 1400/person.

I will admit that within the last 3 days or so, prices have jumped almost by a grand! I have to find flights for a few other people!!! So if anyone finds a good deal from EWR, PHL, or ACY for 4-8 nights..... under 1200/person or so, let me know!! Prefer rooming at Golden OR Great Parnassus.
