Cancun noob here! going with a group of about 6 to The Oasis jan 29 - feb 2. I've done most of the research and I have a pretty good handle on things, but i have a couple questions. first off, we're kind of put off by the whole segregated bracelets business going on. also the fact that you can't have guests back to the hotel at night. we've been thinking about a way to bring "extra" bracelets so that we'll be able to have guests. can anyone describe the type of bracelet that they use. i've read that they're pretty basic, plastic. does anyone know what colors they're using or will be using. i keep reading purple at oasis and black at grand, but i've also read they change colors. also, is there any writing or logos? does anyone have any pictures of the bracelets? we're not trying to smuggle guests in for free or rip anyone off. we are a group of guys and would like to be able to bring our new found friends back for the evening.:ladiesman1: if anyone can help us out that would be awesome! also, anyone else going to be there that weekend?
Looks like you are a few weeks before most of us are. You can't duplicate the oasis bands unfortunately, they always have something on them that make them stand out to the guards so prevent such a thing. Trust me, I've tried haha. There are ways around it though, just rummage through the posts on here and you'll sure to come across the results.
