I have been doing a lot of reseach lately about cancun, this is my first time i will be going and wouldnt mind if people could clear up a few questions

    1) is this still during spring break, if not will it still be busy?

    2) 2 weeks i will be staying in an all inclusive hotel - how much spending money roughly if say i wanted to do 2 or 3 trips and go out every night (i will be drinking in the hotel free during the day)

    3) is it true once you pay to get in clubs its free drink after that?

    4) do an artists play at the time of year, i read that people like Akon, 50 Cent etc have played in the past

    5) take dollars or pesos?

Be much appreciated if someone could answer these for me.

    Cheers

    1) i think this is coming to the end of springbreak (maybe wrong) but yea it will still be busy.

    2) i took about £800 last year and did a few trips with it and went out a good few nights, goin again in march and like you i want to go out most night if not all and from what ive read on here if you can take $100 a day ull be fine

    3) yes its true for the majority of them ( could be all but havent been to all of them)

    4) ill let more experienced cancun visitors answer this

    5) both

    (1) I got same question as you, but I am hoping Spring Break will be over by this time, but due to end of spring and beginning of summer I am guessing it will be busy. I would personally go during end of april, or may....stay away in june/july/aug as it is too hot (at least for me)....and go again in sept/oct.

    (2) Usually when I stay there, I always calculate $80 per night if I am going out. So do the math, $80 X 14 days = $1120 plus you will need additional money for (just incase) expenses plus cab money. So to be on safe side bring $1500. Their ATM fees are too high, so I always bring enough cash on me. And, yes I do also go out every single night my friend, ha ha.

    (3) YES, it is true (ONLY ON PAPER)...those assclown servers at the City and maybe at other clubs will demand you for tip money if you don't tip them after few drinks. So even if you pay $50 all inclusive cover charnge for clubs, you might as well bring extra to tip those assclown servers who will demand tips otherwise you don't be served. Plus there are those shot girls, they will shove drinks down your throats if you are friendly to them, so always bring extra money with you (DO NOT ASSUME THAT IF YOU PAY ALL INCLUSIVE COVER CHARNGE FOR CLUB, YOU ARE DONE FOR NIGHT)

    (4) no clue

    (5) Dollars
