I know we can expect a lot of smart a$$ replies but was curious to see if anyone who has booked for the first week of December who is also doing the Cancun 1/2 or full marathon. We are excited to have our first 2 year with 2 trips and equally excited to do this race in one of our favorite cities!!
Wish we would have booked for the week before we did, so we could have done it! Next year I think we wi book at that time...it would be awesome to run a half in Cancun! 1st timers visiting 12/9-12/14!
No, but we're doing the Rock n Roll one in Vegas mid Nov. So probably still tired & sore til New Year's. But may be there to party & cheer ya on...
I done the full and she done the half last year. Was a good race although my time wasn't as I'd have hoped. Running it after 6 nights in Temptation and 3 days after we got engaged wasn't the smartest of ideas. Still considering it again this year although not sure as doing Berlin in September and New York in Novmeber. Worst part was having to walk about 5k to get back to hotel after as the roads were still closed! Running 42k and then walking another 5 after isn't cool!
Thanks for the heads up about the walk back afterwards. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday afterwards that night!
