Anyone going to Oasis Cancun in September (14-20)? We're 2 girls from Montreal hoping to have a GREAT time!!!
well there wont be many students there, mostly families......... but there will be people there! NO worries, the clubs will be packed at night, but the best time to go and stay at the Oasis is March, as that is spring break, biggest party of the year!! The next best time is summer as a lot of people hit the oasis and cancun for their graduation trip. Now that colleges and universities are back in school, I wouldnt expect very many people at the oasis, and its hurricane season so be sure to watch the weather before you go! With that said, cancun will STILL be crowded........just not as crowded as summer or spring break! Have a GREAT time!!!
For those going to Cancun Oasis, I strongly recommend you fork out the few extra bucks, and upgrade to Grand Oasis Cancun. You share the same property, but you get access to VIP restaurants and bars, plus you get a mini fridge stocked with beer, soda and water at no extra charge. The advantage of VIP bars is that you at least get name brand alcohol and not that mystery plastic bottle stuff. Hangovers with mystery alcohol are the worse!!! The upgrade in drinks alone is well worth the extra money you will have to spend. Also, don't plan on drinking much beer, since usually it is slightly above room temperature. I don't understand why they do this If you want a good ol beach "party" make a day trip to Playa Del Carmen (Mammitas beach). You can purchase a cheap disposable cooler and go hand out there for the day. There are no more big beach parties in Cancun anymore. boo hoo
