Hey guys not long got back from Cancun stayed at crown paradise for 2 weeks over spring break, really enjoyed it nd had the time of my life, only thing was clubs were a bit busy for my liking. Anyways ive just been offered a great deal to go back in Oct, i was wondering if anyone had info to compare it march, weather nd busyiness wise
I used to come here all the time in October....yes it is Hurricane season, but I never had any issues. Maybe cloudy, but still warm and I got some good color. It is low season, so the hotel was only about 45% occupied..maybe a little more. The clubs were full....not packed and, that was enjoyable. I say do it!!!
October We were there in 2009 in October. Great weather, great crowd. I think it rained for an hour one night. We all went to the sports bar and played pool.
we go every March and every October. October 2009. . .weather could NOT have been better. 2008 we were there for two weeks and it rained at least three of those days almost all day. 2007 and 2006 we okay. . .good weather with just an occassional shower a few days. .not much at all. we had airplane tickets for the saturday morning in 2005 that Wilma camped over the city. it's not as crowded in October. a few places shut down a week or two for vacation and/or maintenance. weather wise October can be great or you can have a hurricane.
We've been in October 3 different times. Did experience Wilma in 2005, and you'd never want to do that! It is the "rainy" season as well, but thats all relative. Weather is usually good, not packed with people, but you are in hurricane season. We are in Playa the first week of Oct. to dive in Cozumel, etc....and were there last year at the same time. Perfect weather all 7 days.
Hey me and best mate are going in oct too the rainy season doesnt bother us really am sure it will be warmer then england
we've been 3 times in Oct since 2006 and found it to be great. Yeah a little windy. Not really any more rainy that Southern Ontario. And depending on where you're from you my find the nights a little cool but not cold.
