I'm going to Cancun in May with some friends this year. I wanted to know if anyone has been during May....how is it? Crowded? Families? Partying? ..... All I know is the plane tickets seem to get higher during that month.
Most times when flights get expensive is when the demand is high....May is busy....College graduations and such. There is always tons of people here, even in low season. Maybe not SB packed, but that isn't always alot of fun either..unless you like being crammed into clubs and you can't move.
Never been in cancun in may before but im going May 7th to May 14th at Temptation with 3 or 5 other friends! Should be a good time!
I've never been in May.... but the husband and I are planning on spending our anniversary there this year. However... we have been married two years(this may) and are just now realizing that it is always SOO expensive because last year, our anniv WAS memorial day.... and this year its right around it.... as it will be forever! lol. So we may just go a few weeks before or after to avoid the high price tag
Thanks for the info guys. FYI: My friends and I just got our tickets at $345.00 round-trip from Denver (that includes taxes and fees). Not bad, considering a month ago it was $400 and up minimum.
