Alright so doing a last minute trip to Cancun. Originally was going to go to Vegas but long story short that didn't work out. So were doing Cancun all inclusive at the royal in Cancun. My question is how is the nightlife on Sundays in Cancun? Doesn't look like were going to be able to make it on Friday now because of the flights. Is Saturday Sunday enough to experience Cancun or would it not even be worth it and maybe just go another weekend? Lemme know! It looks like its going to be a bit cloudy this weekend too but oh well!

    Not enough time....

That's just not enough time....can't even relax before you have to get back to the airport and head home! Considering you spend an hour or 2 when you arrive just getting through to the sidewalks, and then 2-3 hours upon departure to get in the air, just not enough beach time for me!

Man I hate the travel days to Cancun as it is. I couldn't do 2 travel days in 2 days to Mexico, no way. Sorry to be negative.

Yeh I know its short but its just really rare that my friends and I get 3 days off in a row to do a trip so we thought why not cancun? Its hard to get days off.

depends where you are coming from.

for me, id do it over vegas.. i go to vegas once a year and twice a year in cancun....before i discover cancun, vegas was my other home but that has been changed.

thing about it is, where im coming from---vegas and cancun are same flight distance.

overall, cancun will be cheaper. ill be going to vegas for superbowl thurs-sun. and be in cancun march 16-23..... cant do vegas more than 2nights imo....cancun at least 5nights

Well, putting the length of the trip aside you really shouldnt be worried about lack of nightlife. There are no quiet days it's busy all week round at the clubs.

The concept of Friday and Saturday being nights out is pretty much reserved for those who have to work Monday to Friday! Over here tourists frequenting the clubs dont have to work the next day so any day is pretty much the same as another.

Also on Saturdays you'll find a lot of locals out having a good time. Mexicans like to party too!

I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for. Have a great trip!

Yeah, that sounds like a short trip. Once you arrive, you're already expecting your departure.

Just do it - it's better than sitting at home for two days. :huepfen021:
