    Hey everyone,

Anyone know of any cool, interesting or cultural things going on in Cancun over the next two weeks? I have my mum and dad in town and I'm looking for some things to take them to? Anyone know a website with events?

    Thanks in advance!

Also anyone know what time the carnival is on today?

Try this one, Mat, they seem to try to cover everything, but you don't get much advance notice, it seems!

Would your family count a baseball game as culture?

How about Roots, for late night music and dinner?

And, don't forget my university, which sponsors a wide variety of events, including "Live from the Met", "The London Theatre", once weekly art films, and once weekly documentaries on a regular basis.

This topic got me thinking, it would be really great if we had like a page where we could add information to that had details of things on and also things to do in this area with prices for locals. Say you've been somewhere great (like CrocoCun) that not everyone knows about and it was a much better price for locals then that could be added, say there is a great deal for locals on a hotel, 700 pesos a night direct with them, instead of the 150 dollars on the travel websites then that could be posted. I know some of us post topics about specific places but they get lost over time so if there was a sticky or whatever it's called, could list places alphabetically and update information as we go between us, say if a price changed or a special offer on etc.. Just an idea.:biggrinbandit:

That's a bargain, wish i was there to take advantage but i'm in the US till 24th! Doesn't mention cost for young kids that i can see? Have to keep and eye on that website. Probably cheaper than driving there and much less hassle!

Discovery Kids and Papalote Museo del Niño (the Childrens Museum from Mexico City) have opened a temporary museum in Plaza Kulkulcan. It will be in Cancun until April 30 and is open from 10am - 7 pm daily. It is a fun thing to experience for both children and adults.
