My dad and I had a blast in Cancun last week. We stayed at his timeshare Club de International (Royal Resorts) and it was extremely NICE. The staff and the resort itself well exceeded my expectations compared to some other timeshare places we have stayed. Went down to the Hotel Zone a few times bar hoping and it was fun but hung around the resort mostly for dinner and drinks. Went to Market 28 during the day and shopped around some got some pretty neat gifts for good prices. Went to Isla Mujeres and it was a blast, read my post of the Isla Mujeres thread for further details. The weather was decent rained about half the time but hard rain in the am and throughout the day off and on, nothing too bad. Taking the bus and taxi was a lot better than I thought so the prices are right and very safe. Didn't really eat any authentic mexican restaurants but had some good Itailain at La Doca Vida. Overall the trip was good and I will return again. I'll be posted some pics later after they get uploaded.
