Wow! Prices are going up as I get closer to our trip, glad I booked when I did. When I called the travel agent on a Friday night a few weeks ago to ask a few questions before we chose between Temptations and Golden Parnassus I confirmed the price. I called to book Temptations the next morning and the price had gone up $50.00 each. OK, that's life, you snooze you lose! I just checked the SunWing website for the fun of it and the price has gone up another $90.00 per person. I thought prices might go down as the travel date approached, not expecting it to go up. On a sadder note, we now arrive in Cancun almost two hours later due to a flight schedule change but we also leave almost two hours later the following week. But it's all good! It works out to the same amount of time and I guess we actually get to have some sleep before we fly down :lol: Wish it was January 26th!

don't really know about the prices in Canada....but this is the beginning of high season in Cancun, the prices are always higher around this time. We usually go in September, when it is low season, cheaper prices, but this last year was the 3rd time we almost got hit with a hurricane......rethinking our plans...LOL enjoy your trip, your going to have a GREAT time !!!
just checked our trip. From when we booked in October until today the price has gone up $200.00 per person. Dont wait any longer if you think you are going to go. Take care all.
just took a quick look and the trip I booked in Oct for the 4 of us has gone up $500/person so far, guess it pays to lpan ahead. Don't knoe if this is propper edicate but when I went last year it seemed alot of people payed way more for their trips last Feb. As opposed to this year I got the trip even cheeper, Just wondering what the normal price others are finding. We paid $1100 tax included a person?
We've been watching prices for February since we returned from our last trip in November. For the week we are going, prices definitely increased about 3 weeks ago, but I did notice that they are beginning to drop again. Now that Christmas is over, they will continue to drop. We generally book 2 - 3 weeks before we leave and get great deals.
Watching for April 11th right now on Itravel2000, Sunwing is one of the company's that they use. Anyway, cheapest on April 11th is 1049, that is a 4:00 flight, we want the 6:00 a.m., flight which right now sits at 1149, 3 weeks ago it was at 949, so it hasgone up 200.00 per person in less than a month, I am just hoping it will drop again..
Hey there, I booked about a month ago, 900.00 Canadian, taxes included. Leaving from Toronto. I usually go there in Oct. , the last two years I paid 1250.00 per. Great deal this year!!! Brian
My guess would be that the majority of this fluctuation has to do with the Canadian dollar changing so much. We went from $1.10 to $.75 in a relatively short period of time. We notice it a lot here because of the cross border shoppers.
