My friend is Mexican and she is going to be moving back to Zacatecas City and I was going to bring her belongings with me in my SUV. I am also at a point in my life where I don't need to be in Canada (no commitments, kids grown), and I would like to obtain employment in Mexico. She mentioned that Cancun or Playa del Carmen would be one of the best places for a Canadian to obtain a position. I have a background in banking and software training but I am willing to bartend or something in the hospitality industry. I have spent time in Mexico previously, and understand the living situation and the other "warnings" that have been given in the past, my question is how and where would a Canadian look for employment and is it possible to secure something prior to coming?
