Kim and I just got back last night. Most Canadians don't travel with our own currency but just in case you were thinking about it...thought I'd give you a heads up that the exchange rate at the hotel and in stores for Canadian dollars sucks! It's annoying since our dollar is at par with the US dollar or, as of today, slightly higher. Also, the TV news channels available are Mexican, US Fox News and the BBC. No Canadian news? I would say over the last couple of weeks the guests were about 70% + Canadian. It was the same last year when we were there. Anyway, I'm just sayin'....... :flagcanada:
We always use US. Already have 1500.oo to go. I think a shitty excahnge rate can be said no matter where you go outside Canada. It was 1.03/1.00 when we bought the US dollars.
which is a good price monique, last year we were paying close to 24 to there 1.00 I got 500usd last week for 516can.Cant complain at those rates.
