Canadian dollar pulls even with American dollar

just read the paper and apparently the Canadian dollar is now worth 1.0008 USD ... so now that we have parity with our American counterparts do you think A. Canadian money will be more accepted in mexico.. or B. will you run out to your bank and buy up a bunch of US dollars now and put it away until spring break? of course these questions are for my fellow canadians but feel free to add in your 2 dollars or 2 loonies :wink:

 

all i know is right now english pound is £1 to $2 so im takin me like £500 POW!!

YEah the dollar is going be over a dolalr they claim next week. Due to the Gas prices and the US economy, we are doing well...Ncie......

I remmeber going to Vegas when the dollar was at 65 cents..pfffff

I wouldn't count on the canadian dollar being widely acepted in Mexico though.

 

exchanged my Canadian for American.Now they say the loonie could go over the American dollar.

Mental the dollar is like $2 for £1 here When i'm in london i'm gonna hit a travelex next week (Best rates) and get sum for the trip to cancun save my self incase it comes back down

 

and that would be a sad day in america if that was to happen
