I just called Rogers and for $50 you get 15min and 100 txt messages.
Anyone have a better idea, my phone is unlocked so I can put any sim card into it.
I tried finding a store with sims last time at TTR to no avail?

Also does anyone know where there is free wifi? I thought maybe the starbucks at the mall down the road from TTR?

    P.S. 6 days to go!

Starbucks does offer free wifi - access code is on the receipt. It did not work with Friefox but worked fine with IE.

You will need to go to a cell phone store and buy a sim card and plan. TelCel stores are everywhere.

Might as well just spend the $8-$15 at the resort when you need internet access or buy the week long plan for around $75. Its not worth leaving the resort in search of free access.

I like to call or txt our daughter everyday or second day!
We tried cell phone stores last year with no results.
I thought Rogers was pretty steep for 15min of talk time for $50.

There is free wifi close by the pirate boat. Don't know how the service is but if you buy a beer you can use the wifi for free.

if you catch the bus and go to the mall, you can pick up a sim card w/data on it, for something like 40 bucks. much cheaper than the hotel's $10 a day.

We looked all over last year and couldn't find one place to sell us a sim card? Where at the mall?
