Great game (for us anyway!) Canada seemed to ease up in the third period. I think to avoid the possibility of injuries. They are really coming together. Respect to the U.S. but I think we're are going to win it. Hope so anyway. As they said about Canadian's on NBC early in the Olympics: Canadian's are sometimes just too nice but they seem to be more comfortable here with openly wanting to win. There's nothing wrong with saying "Hi, welcome to our country. It's great to see you. And now we'd like to whup your ass....."...lol
Before anyone gets too far ahead of themselves, both the US and Canada have another game before the gold medal round. Both Finland and Slovakia will be formidable foes for both teams. I don't think either the US or Canada should be looking beyond their next opponent or either of them or even both may be playing for the bronze.
