is there a public access beach? Or somwhere we can walk on the beach for a couple miles or......play in the waves? I realize that's impossible at TTR
waves there is a beach in front of TTR and you can walk right along the beach and frolick in the waves lol.. of course you can jump a bus outside the resort and go round the hotel zone to playa delfines just by the HILTON hotel, which is a public beach ...
Theres a public beach down town...take a bus or cab down town by the clubs and its a short walk from there...
Take the bus down town & right next to Coco Bongo's U can walk to the public beach, its also right behind Hardrock cafe . There is a long strech of beach U can swim, body surf, lay out, whatever.We have been there several times, sometimes the waves r decent depending on the tide. Take your camera there is a couple rock formations that R good places to take pics with waves breaking on them. Ps don't forget to take a towl.
All the beaches in Cancun are public beaches, So you can lay out in front of any hotel...We try to get over to the ocean side at least once a trip, We miss playing in the waves. Also they just spent 80 Million bucks for beach recovery. Have heard alot of the beaches are the width of a football field....Was much needed after hurricane Wilma destroyed the beaches... Tmac is right bring a towel you can't use the resorts chairs
depends on how you want to play in the waves we walked to the left of TTR and found a quiet spot neer to an hotel that had shut down:wink3: but that was 2 years ago thats left if you stand on beach with yoyr back to TTR
