We are the kinda people who love the sound of a fan at night, is there anywhere in walking distance to get a box fan to put in our room or will the resort provide a fan??
USA Transfers will stop if you book with them in advance. They usually stop at a place that is a Walmart grocery store (think Walmart neighborhood market in USA). You might be able to stop somewhere else. Accross the street there is an OXXO, pharmacia, a boat shop,, and another convenience store.
I've never heard of anyone at TTR requesting/receiving a box fan... but the A/C system in the rooms doe shave a white-noise generator-like muted roar when it's on. I sleep with cieling fan at home and the A/C unit sort of matches that well, especially after a night... uh... drinking.
We took a quick taxi trip to Walmart and grabbed one. We left it there so there is at least one hidden some place.
Why not get a fan baby noise maker? Amazon has some that are super small and you can pack it on all trips.
