Calgary Stampede ~ CCC Party July 12 - 15 Roll Call! 2012

Calling all CCC Partiers.....and you KNOW who you are........um....All of you! :lotsofmichaelfs:

The Calgary Stampede is celebrating it's 100th Birthday this July and many of us are getting together to have a mini CCC reunion and party it up Stampede style! :ernaehrung015:

The stampede runs from July 5 to 15th but the group gathering is coming the 2nd weekend July 12 to 15th.

Lets get a roll call going and lets find out who's all coming!

I am hosting a bbq the afternoon of July 14th at my house for the CCC group prior to heading out for a great Saturday night of Stampede fun!

 

We're in! Great idea!

I wonder how many out of towners we get in on this?

 

Sounds like Mommabear, Karen, Vince and Wendy, Glenn & Monique are coming to join us so far!

 

Keith??? Where are you???

 

Putting in my time off at work tomorrow and already pricing flights! I'm in!

 

Keith and I were the ones that hatched the CCC reunion concept with Craig in the sexy pool one afternoon, so YOU BET Keith is IN! He's just returned from Cancun and is in recovery mode. He'll surface shortly lol

 

Yep were in and Glenn is on the phone at this moment with Vince. We have also talked to Delicious as well. She live there so easy for her. We are thinking about pitching in and renting a house or condo. Glenn is searching out web sites he always uses.

 

It would be great to see Delicious again! I think Brian expressed some interest, but I know he is travelling to Vancouver in late July with his boys to visit family, so perhaps Stampede won't work for him.

 

I have emailed Brian and he said he is considering but the dates might not work out due to the Vancouver travel you mentioned.

There are a couple of things I had somewhat planned.

Thursday - people arrive!
Friday Morning - Dogie Do breakfast - Starts about 8 am. A good breakfast with all you can drink and dancing till about noon. Happens downtown at the Westin.

Friday Afternoon - 3 pm - Oxford Party at Ft. Calgary - 3 till about 9 an outdoor party with 3 bands (Last year was INXS, Platinum Blonde and 54-40) Approx 8,000 ppl getting their Stampede on! If anyone still has stamina - there is several bars to head to.

Saturday - 2/3 ish....I would like to host a bbq at my house. Great steaks and trimmings and we can get started before heading out to Wildhorse saloon or Cowboys downtown.

Those are just a couple of suggestions.

 

That sounds great to me .. I am going to have to book the friday off.. cause I work for the only oil and gas company in Calgary that does not party during stampede :huh:
