Anyone with info on Cabo in the spring (March-April)? Weather? Best places to stay without breaking the bank, transfers, etc... We thought about GOV this spring before our tripto TTR in July, but the prices in Cabo are really great in the spring.

Riu Palace is a great all inclusive for afforable price. ME Cabo is our favorite...closer to downtown, but not all inclusive and more pricey.

Riu Palace s our recommendation for quality vs price. Beach is wonderful but most often red flag for swimming. Lots of pools to explore & big sister hotel next door for you too. No topless option as I recall.

    We wen't mid April 2012.

HOT! but its a dry heat. we had a few days in the upper 90's and shade was required during the peak hours. Night time cools down quite a bit as its the desert so bring a light jacket with you - just in case. It's not the Caribbean so the water is cool and there are waves - watch for the black flag on the beaches if your not a strong swimmer.

Airport is quite calm compared to Cancun and much smaller -

Booking a private transfer is not necessary, book a 1-way transfer prior to arrival and take a cab back. As its much smaller than Cancun, no big buses. All vans with only 2-4 stops usually.

Airport is 20-miles from Cabo's so you first stop will be any resort in San Jose, then any resort on the road from San Jose to Cabo's which is 15-miles.

If you plan on hitting the Cabo's downtown clubs/bars, going out to Lovers Beach one day - it would be worthwhile to stay closer to Cabo as the cab rides are long. Avoid MargaritaVille unless there is a live band - expensive and cliche. It's fun wandering from bar to bar having a beer or two and moving on. Aside from being panhandled by 4yr olds at midnight its really safe and all the tourists are out.

We've heard good things about Melia Cabo Real for a moderately priced adults only. Villa Del Palmar as well.

I got roofied at Riu Palace Cabo. I know that's the fault of whatever idiots were there, and not the place....but forgive me if it left a bad feeling.

I can't even imagine a time when Cabo would be cheaper than Cancun?!?!
