We are meeting friends at the airport and doing a transfer together to GOV. But wondered how hard and how much a cab ride back to the airport will be. I hate that they take you 3 hours early for a flight anyway. We have never taken more than 40 minutes to get to our gate and have to sit the rest...
Your bags have to be checked in one hour prior to departure time. You are also looking at potential of long lines for the ticket counter. 2 hours is plenty to check in and be on board the flight. Getting a cab at the hotel should be easy. Also the cost is $20-30 for 2 people. If you negotiate properly you should be able to get it for $20 US currency.
Thanks...I figured it would be easy enough, but didnt know what a good price was to negotiate... We will make sure we have plenty of time but 3 hours is crazy. LOL
We have used USA Transfers for our last 8 trips. Very inexpensive and reliable. They pick you up 2 hours before flight time on the return trip.
Can't remember what we paid in April, but it definitely was more than $20 from TTR....either $30 or $35. So, in November we booked the round trip transfer with USA Transfers. You can tell them what time to pick you up. We had the same concerns as you....didn't feel like hanging out at the airport for hours.
Make sure you have exact amount. They will say they don't have change. Last time I only had 20's. So paid him 40. Oh well. It was close to Christmas and he looked happy. Would also depend what day you are leaving. Since you aren't leaving on a weekend it shouldn't be to bad but if it was a Saturday or Sunday. Would recommend 2 hours at least
