Does anyone Know how much it would cost to take a cab from the airport to Temtations ? It seems there isnt a transfer included in my package.
Yes it will be $65 USD one way for two people - do yourself a favor just book USA Transfers which is only $35 one way or $55 round trip for a private van - you won't be sorry !
Regular Taxis are not allowed to pick up fares at the airport. What you have to do is go to a kiosk in the terminal and pay for transportation(what they and you call a taxi, in reality just a private transfer) - then they give you a ticket to go outside and you will then be assigned a car and driver ( yes it may look like a taxi but it is really just a private transportation company ) Pre booking USA Transfers is much cheaper or you can get a shared van(a little cheaper) at the same kiosk I mentioned above - the downside to the shared van is that you wil have to wait until the van has enough passengers to depart(could be up to 20min) and then Temptation is usually the last stop after they drop all the other passengers off at their hotels - could be up to one hour for you to get to Temptation after you leave the airport in a shared van..
Cokewithlime is spot on here. It's great that your package did not charge you for transportation as booking with USA Transfers is the absolute best way to get to and from the airport when you stay at Temptation.
USA Transfers did my whole wedding group (30 some people) in about 12 vehicles flawlessly in both directions. They have excellent english speakers, and they follow up on email quickly.
u can talk the taxis down to around 40-45 us there the hotel will have one there to go back for like 25 at the airport they will say price is set but this is mexico money talks. or u can do a private van like they said and share r for like 85 round trip u can be in there with no one else straight there and back spend the extra little money well worth it not having to stop at 5 different place before TTR
