George Bush is visiting a kid's school on a pre-election campaign.

He addresses a class of 5-6 year olds and asks: "You all remember 9/11 kids?"

    The kids reply "YES Sir"

Bush goes on:" Well that was an example of a tragedy...Can anyone else give me another example of a tragedy?"

Little Peter sticks up his hand:"If my dad got electrocuted while using the lawnmower, that would be a tragedy"

Bush scratches his chin and says:"Well that would be an accident but not really a tragedy son..."

Little Susie sticks up her hand:"Well Sir, if the school bus went over a cliff and all 60 kids and the driver were killed, that would be a tragedy"

Again Bush scratches his chin:"No I'd have to disagree;that would certainly be a great loss, but not really a tragedy..."

Little Jimmy sticks up his hand:"Sir, if Airforce One was hit by a missile and you, your dad and all of your advisors were killed, that would be a tragedy"

Bush comes right back:"Well done son!!! I'm real proud of you:That would be a real tragedy:Can you tell the rest of the class how you reached your conclusion son?"

Little Jimmy says:"Well sir, I figured it wouldn't be an accident and it certainly wouldn't be a great loss!!!"

am still waiting for the inevitable...all U.S. Presidents who have been elected in a year ending with "0" have suffered assasination attempts and/or deaths in office. Last one--Reagan--was shot in the early 80's.
