For all of you loyal GP'ers out there .... do you know if there is a bug/mosquito situation in May?? I have heard mixed things on the forums in general, and have been told that I need to bring bug spray with me!! Is this true?? Do I have bug bites in my near future in May???

    Thanks!

    Bugs

We are there the first week of May, I'll let you know when we get back. I'm going to take spray just in case and something for bites. Can't wait!!

Unless there are days and days of rain, there should not be mosquitos atleast not enough you will need spray. If you do jungle tours and things like that, then you should take spray with you. Mosquitos usually come out in full force during the rainy season June through October. But like I said, we need the rain for them to cause a problem.

I don't know if they spray at GP but I know some of the other resorts spray for bugs so they won't "bug" the guests :D
