the logs of my palapa house have bugs emerging from them. I guess they are a wood boring beetle, like a powderpost beetle in the USA. The holes are pretty big, like 1/8", with the fine dust. I know people spray tons of chemicals down here, one person suggested "Vida Madera", which I know is a very serious poison. I heard there is a store selling more ecologically friendly products, something like "Eco Systems", to deal with bugs. There are borate products in the USA, like Boracare or Timbor, that would be good for this. Are they available in Cancun? Any suggestions? thanks!
