Ended up with some good tickets for Jimmy Buffett in STL. Any good suggestions for the concert or the pre-concert party? We have a hotel room next door at Harrah's, so we don't have to worry about driving home. JB has not been in STL for quite a while. How much of the crowd will be local, vs Parrotheads that are traveling quite a ways to the concert? Some of the concert clips look pretty wild, with the concert goers looking like they have done it a few times before.

We went and seen Jimmy Buffet in Toronto this past September. After the concert I was looking up some Jimmy Buffet stuff, he has his own message board similar to this one, I discovered that someone had planned a pre-party before the concert serving Maragarita's and the such as well as having a tribute band playing for them. I wish I had of known in advance, the concert started at 8:00, but the pre-concert party had started at 4:00, plus beers inside the show were $11.00 each, whereas for the pre-concert everyone brough their own. Tons of people at the concert showed up in grass skirts, fin heads, parrot heads and all that neat parphenilia. I called my kids during the show and had them listen to Margaritaville live on my cell phone. Even though they weren't there, they got to hear his biggest hit live. Have a blast.

We got our tickets for the Philly show this year...wooohooo. Definitely getting a room is the first step. The pre-parties are the best...just bring your A-Game and you'll be good to go.
I have been to both shows every summer here and in chicago for probably the last 8 years! My mom is a HUGE parrot head, so she gets the vip tent tickets(free cheesburgers and beer), if you have never gone, its an experience hahahahaha love it!
OMG you guys are gonna have such FUN.... went a couple years ago with a group where one of the guys actually brought his bass fishing boat with him to the prebuffet tailgate... he sat up in the drivers seat, fishing rod in hand with a beer filled condom on the end. You wouldn't believe how many female fish he caught that day!! LOL it was quite hilarious
