Bubba mug question

So our mugs just arrived (complete with an unexpected bottle opener on the handle, woo hoo!) and I was wondering do people carry them to the bars too or are they more just for the pool?

Kind of a stupid question, but just curious. Thanks!

I have seen them everywhere but mainly used at the pool.

 

We carried ours into the buffet and margaritas but left it in the room for the nicer dinners.

 

Did you guys get order the Cancuncare Bubba Mugs through Steve?

 

We got ours from the bubba mugs website. We had already ordered ours when Steve said the CCC ones were available :-/

I use a clear "smart" one at paty'o.

 

We are getting things ready for out trip on Aug 1st and was wondering are these mugs a required thing? Are we going to be seen as outsiders if we don't have this mugs? We are just asking as we do not know. Can any big ass mug do or does it have to be a CCC mug?

 

Ed & Amanda, Michelle and I are newbies as well. What I've read on Cancuncare and have figured out a lot that's helpful. The Bubba mugs aren't required and don't have to be a ccc either. The ccc mugs would be recognized by anyone else that is a ccc member and conversation may start easier. The resort has small plastic cups from what I've read and an insulated mug keeps your drink cold and big mug less trips to bar. Have a great adult spring break I know we will

 

Bubba Mugs were great for use around Sexy Pool- no one wants to drink pool water. We went with the smaller ones- we were happy with them.
Pool only for mugs, though, and buffet lunches. Paty O's we left them in the room and used resort plastic- seemed like the normal choice.

Where do you think you are going? Bars, as in plural?

That's not TTR. There's Patyo's, and you won't need a mug, but you can certainly use one, there.
