So I have these insulated cups leftover from my daughters birthday party that I picked up from the dollar store. They look like a normal drinking glass except are clear plastic with screw on lids and a straw. As I recall, they are probably 3 times larger than the glasses that you get at Paty-Os. Same concept as the bubba mugs, but they look alot more like beer glasses. I am thinking of bringing a couple to Paty-Os to use for drinks in the evenings. Bigger - less trips to the bar Insulated - keep drinks colder for longer Lids - can't spill on anyone Different - always know which drink is mine (can write name on) Cheap - don't care if they disappear My question is - I do not recall anyone else doing this at Paty-Os and can't think of why not. Have you yourself or have you seen anyone do this. Is there a reason why I shouldn't?
well I will say for us we usually have a drink in our room b4 hitting Paty O's and remember we have been drinking ALL DAY!!!!! Usually don't really need much to drink by the time we are at Paty O's because of this................I like to dance so I usually try and sober up a bit so I don't wind up laying on the ground )) especially navigating 4-5 inch heels and a dress up to my bootie! (this is Rhonda BTW) but it sounds like a great idea if your gonna be having a few drinks! Honestly we are usually more worried about finding food at Paty O's time...............we get the munchies after realizing we havent had much to eat all day!
Our friends used them last year at Patty O's. They'll fill them up as normal but you have to keep your lids and straws when at the bar or when giving to the waitress. I think it's a hygenic thing. I was thinking of doing it myself this year just because I drink bourbon and the ice melts so quick that it sweats the glasses so quickly.
Hygenic is another advantage but truthfully it the "less trips to the bar", "keeping it cold" and being able to find my drink is more important to me. I tend to set my drink down and forget where I put it. Not wanting to risk drinking someone elses, I go get another - hence more time at the bar. Having my own cup makes so much more sense to me.
We use ours that are like that all the time. They work well and you dont have to worry about anything falling in your drink............
Have one of those little 5hr energy drinks and you will keep dancing and drinking till the sun comes up. Throw your shirt on on the pool lounger and go take a nap. Lots easier than gettin up early to save a chair.............
